What ScriptGarden is
ScriptGarden is a growing collection of free online tools for websites, search engine optimisation (SEO) and everyday text and image jobs, plus guides that explain how to use them. You can make a QR code, count words, format JSON, compress images, or check a page's SEO tags without creating an account.
What we promise
- Free and simple. No sign-up, no downloads, and no features hidden behind a paywall.
- Private by design. Tools marked as running in your browser do their work on your own device. Your text, files and passwords are not uploaded.
- Clear and sourced. Each tool explains what its results mean, says when it was last reviewed and links to official sources such as Google's documentation and internet standards.
- No tracking clutter. At the time of writing the site uses no advertising or analytics scripts and sets no cookies. See our privacy page for details.
How we build and check the tools
Every tool is tested in a real browser on desktop and phone sizes before it is published. We check the advice against primary sources, show a visible "last updated" date on each tool page, and review pages again when the underlying rules change, for example when a search engine updates its guidance.
Limits we are honest about
SEO tools can find technical problems, but they cannot promise rankings. Our checkers read the HTML a server sends, which is how many crawlers see a page first. They do not run a page's JavaScript, so content added only by scripts is not included. Where a tool has a limit, the tool page says so.
