Tools that run in your browser

The word counter, QR code generator, JSON formatter, password generator, case converter, lorem ipsum generator, image compressor and the generators for meta tags, robots.txt and schema markup do all their work on your own device. The text, images and passwords you enter are not sent to us and are not stored.

Tools that use our server

The Website Downloader, Redirect Checker, Meta Tag Checker, HTTP Header Checker, Broken Link Checker and the page-finding option of the XML Sitemap Generator need our server to fetch a public web address that you give them.

• The address you enter is used to make the request and show you the result. Results are not kept.
• The Website Downloader creates a ZIP file for you, which is deleted from our server about two hours later.
• To prevent abuse we keep short-lived counters of how many requests a visitor has made. The visitor is identified only by a one-way hash of their network address, not the address itself.
• Requests to private or internal network addresses are refused.

Cookies and tracking

At the time of writing, this site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts. If that changes, we will update this page first.

Hosting logs

Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as the time of a request, the page requested and the visitor's network address, to keep the service running and secure. These logs are handled under the host's own policies.

Fonts and links

Fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact a font provider. Links to other websites, such as the sources on our tool pages, lead to sites with their own privacy policies.
